Meet Sandy

Sandy Harrison is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has dedicated her career to supporting grieving children. With extensive experience in various hospice programs across Florida, she has provided emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times.

Inspired by her work in children's bereavement programs, Sandy began writing books to help others navigate the grieving process. She has participated in numerous programs designed to aid children and their parents in coping with loss, observing firsthand how hands-on activities enabled children to express their feelings about their loved ones.

As a counselor at grief camps, Sandy has assisted families in memorializing their loved ones in meaningful ways. Through her stories, she aims to empower both parents and children to approach ongoing grief with strength and understanding.
